What began as one couple's calling in 2007 continues today — helping our community, one person at a time.
Marvelous Light International was founded in 2007 by Pastor Reggie Thomas and his wife, Esther — married 46 years. What started as a calling to serve grew into a ministry providing life's necessities to thousands of children and families across the community.
Pastor Reggie came to know the Lord in 1995. Through a local ministry and biblical training he became a youth minister, and in 2007 he felt called to launch Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, later known as The Light Church. He opened its doors for its first service on Resurrection Sunday, March 23, 2008. His desire was to help men become the leaders they were meant to be, and his goal was simple: restore lives, one person at a time.
Known affectionately as Lady E, Lady Esther, or simply Es, Esther is the co-founder of Marvelous Light International. Today she continues the vision she and Reggie built together — encouraging others to study God's word, never give up, and always remain hopeful.
Family has always been at the heart of their story: their two children, Reggie Jr. and Jennifer; daughter-in-law Melissa; three granddaughters, Je'Bria, Neema, and Aaniyah; and one great-granddaughter, Grace.
Known as "The Preacher of Power," Pastor Reggie's love for Jesus was evident in his praise and in his love for people. He gave himself to the calling of restoring lives, one person at a time.

Pastor Reggie went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2025. "The Lord said, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant.'" His legacy lives on in every family this ministry continues to serve.
